As a Client Manager, you have access to upload learners either one-by-one or by Bulk Import.
Adding a learner one at a time
To upload learners, from your dashboard select Users>Learners. Then select the gear icon on the top of the page and select Add Learner.
Fill in the following fields:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Sublicense: select the sublicense in the dropdown for which you are a Client Manager. There will likely be only one sublicense here.
- Optional fields: Learner Reference 1-10: These are optional fields where you can add details to the learner profile such as department or cost center. These would typically be used for reporting purposes.
- Invite Message: This optional field is if you would like to send this user an invitation via email. You may enter a custom message here.
- Select the green Invite button.
Bulk Importing Users
To upload learners, from your dashboard select Users>Learners. Then select the gear icon on the top of the page and select Bulk Import Learners.
On this screen, you can download the bulk import users template by selecting the Download CSV Template button.
Once you've downloaded the template, open it up and add your users, filling in each column. Required columns are first name, last name and email address.
In most cases, the Status column will be not-started since these are new users and they will not have started anything yet. For the sendInvite column, y is for yes, send an invitation and n is for no, do not send an invitation. After you fill out and upload your CSV file you'll have an opportunity to create the custom invitation if sendInvite = y. You may leave completionDate and externalCustomer fields blank.
After you've filled out and saved your CSV file, go back to the platform and select the "I've downloaded and filled in the template button." Search for your file and upload. You'll get a preview screen of your upload so that you confirm and upload your users. If there is a mistake, you'll see a button to try uploading again. Fix your CSV file and upload again.
