eLearning Courses via Access University
Access University provides users with access to many training courses on a wide range of topics. All courses are self paced and accessible. After completion of many of the courses, there is also a test that users can take. This will record that the user has completed the course, and ensures that all core subject matter has been obtained by completing the course materials. Navigating to Access University is as easy as selecting the 'University' tab from the AMP main navigation structure.

|Accessibility Concepts v2.0||This course provides an overview of accessibility and how it applies to Information and Communications Technology (ICT). It is designed for those who will be introduced to the different types of disabilities, assistive technology, business drivers for accessibility, and various accessibility standards.|
|Introduction to JAWS||This course provides an overview of the major functionality and testing techniques of JAWS to validate accessibility best practices in websites and web applications.|
|Accessibility Audit Methodology 2.0||This course provides a high level overview of the process for auditing web pages and software for compliance against standards like Section 508 Revised and WCAG 2.0 or 2.1.|
|Accessibility Testing Tools Overview||This course provides a high level overview of the testing tools used in the audit process including assistive technology.|
|Introduction to the ADA||This course teaches the basics of the ADA and how it is frequently interpreted. It will also teach the application and rationale of the ADA.|
|Introduction to the CVAA||This course will give you the basics of the CVAA, discuss relevant accessibility issues, and it will offer guidance on design and record-keeping. It outlines starting points to consider when testing for compliance.|

|AMP New User Orientation||This course provides an orientation into the Accessibility Management Platform.|
|Access University New User Orientation||This course is a complete walk-through of the Access University product, from logging in to completing a course and running reports.|
|Access Assistant New User Orientation||This course is designed to give new AMP users a thorough introduction to Access Assistant and the different features available.|
|Using Access Analytics||An overview of how to use Access Analytics, including an explanation of our dashboards and how to get the most out of the product.|
|WCAG 2.1: Exploring the New Success Criteria||The WCAG 2.1 'Quick-Start Lesson in Accessibility' is a brief overview of WCAG 2.1. Level Access has crafted these lessons to help students digest useful information without the stress of taking a test and passing a longer course.|
|Best Practices for Creating Accessible Emails||In this quick-start lesson, you'll learn the best practices in creating emails that are accessible to people with disabilities.|
|Quick Tips for Writing Meaningful Alt Text||In the 'Quick Tips for Writing Meaningful Alt Text' lesson, you'll learn the essentials for writing meaningful alt text to accompany images, logos and graphics.|
|Writing & Reading the VPAT®||'Writing & Reading the VPAT®' is a lesson in what the VPAT® is, why it's a good idea to have one, and how to read and write the VPAT®.|
|Accessibility Basics and Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG)||The Accessibility Basics and Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) lesson introduces users to what SVGs are and discusses areas where SVGs would be useful for organizations. Specific techniques for logos, diagrams, graphs, maps and more are also discussed.|
|Making Communications Accessible for Remote Audiences||This course covers accessibility best practices when presenting materials to a remote audience.|
|Making Accessible Materials for Conferences and Events||This course resources to create an inclusive online and event materials. By creating resources with accessibility in mind, we create a welcoming environment for everyone to learn alongside their peers.|
The Best Practices section can be accessed and used as a reference guide when creating or developing content from the start. Each best practice provides code-level remediation guidance and examples of compliant and non-compliant code. It also shows what standards the best practice is mapped to and what violations correspond with a violation of the best practice. This ensures that all requirements are clearly defined at the initial development stages which is the most efficient, cost effective, and ideal situation. The Best Practices are categorized by technology platform and content type. The Standards section of the Best Practices section provides a list of all active standards for an organization. Users can select specific standards from the list to view the Best Practices that map to the chosen standard and their sub sections (paragraphs or success criteria). This information clearly outlines the atomic accessibility conditions which must be met in order to ensure full compliance with the standards.
